Aventuras Patagonicas is an international mountain guiding company with 40 years of professional experience. We specialize in guiding high altitude mountaineering expeditions throughout South America in the Andes, with a particular focus on guided Aconcagua climbs.
Today, Aventuras Patagonicas is synonymous with success and professionalism on Aconcagua, guiding more clients from around the world, to the top of Aconcagua than any other guiding company. Our proudest achievement is to be among the only companies guiding on Aconcagua to have had zero accidents or fatalities (not even a frostbite!) in 40 years of operations.
Since 1984, Aventuras Patagonicas has lead a total of 411 expeditions up Aconcagua. We have guided over 3,300 clients successfully on Aconcagua. In just the last 5 years, we have achieved two seasons where 100% of our expeditions reached the summit – a rare feat given Aconcagua’s average success rate of ~30%.
